Buganvilia - Paper Flower

Hace unos meses estuvimos de paseo por Lunahuaná, valle situado a tres horas de Lima, un lugar de un clima privilegiado, muy propicio para el desarrollo de la preciosa Buganvilia (Bouganvillea) también conocida como Papelillo.

 A few months ago we were strolling around Lunahuaná,  a valley located three hours from Lima, a place of privileged climate, very suitable for the development of the beautiful Bougainvillea (Bougainvillea) also known as Papelillo.

Las habían de muchos colores, rojas, rosadas, naranjas, lilas y blancas. 

They are in differents colors, red, pink, orange, lily and white. 

Allí les muestro unas de ellas captadas bajo el lente de mi cámara, espero les guste.

Fruta Fresca - Fresh Fruit

Con la llegada de la Primavera también llegan deliciosas frutas. 

With the arrival of Spring also we get delicious fruit.

Pensar en una fresca ensalada de frutas con un toque de miel y granóla, es como estar en el paraíso.

Think on a fresh fruit salad with a touch of honey and granola, it's like being in paradise.

Una gran selección de las más ricas y nutritivas, manzanas, melocotones, kiwi, aguaymanto, plátanos granadillas y fresas .... soy una fanática de las fresas.

A large selection of the richest and most nutritious fruits: apples, peaches, kiwifruit, aguaymanto, bananas, granadillas and strawberries .... I'm a big  fan of strawberries.

Hibisco Rosado - Pink Hibiscus

Caminando por allí  me detuve ha  admirar este hermoso regalo de la naturaleza, imposible no fotografiarlo. I stopped walking there, has to admire this beautiful gift of nature, impossible not to photograph it.

Un imponente hibisco rosado, una flor muy bella y de gran personalidad. Acá en Perú se le conoce como "Cucarda", se adaptan perfectamente en jardines externos, terraza o patios, necesitan de bastante luz, suelo fértil y húmedo. Hay muchos de ellos en los parques de la ciudad.

A stunning pink hibiscus, a beautiful flower with great personality. Here in Peru it is known as "Cucarda", they are well adapted to external gardens, terraces or patios, need plenty of light, fertile and moist soil. There are many of them in city parks.

A magical place where life was flourishing, full of joy and enthusiasm.

Lily era el Hada de las Flores, de una dulzura sin igual.

Lily was the Fairy of Flowers, with a sweetness like no other.

Y Zuly el Hada del Agua, tan pura y cristalina, el alimento para embellecer todo el lugar.

And Zuly the Water Fairy, so pure and crystalline, the food of the beautify for whole place.

Las Hadas revoloteaban y transmitían todo su alegría con dulces cantos.
Fairies flitted and passed all the joy with sweet songs.

El secreto mejo guardado ....... el "Polvo de Hadas".

The best kept secret .... "Fairy Dust"

that wich allow them to "fly"

y llevar su gracia, alegría y ayuda  a todas partes donde la necesiten!

Explosión de Color - Color Explosion

Muy bonito.... Very pretty!!!

No pude resistirme a tomarle una foto a este arreglo que decoraba el lobby de un hotel, muy alegre y llamativo, como para calentar un poco el ambiente, ya que la Primavera todavía no se manifiesta, todavía seguimos teniendo días fríos!!

I could not resist to take a photo of this arrangement that is in a hotel lobby, very cheerful and appealing to warm the atmosphere, because the Spring has not yet  manifested, we still have cold days!

Mesa: Bienvenida Primavera - Tablescape: Welcome Spring

Como para celebrar la llegada de la Primavera, sencillo pero con un toque de alegría y color. 

To celebrate the arrival of Spring, simple but with a touch of joy and color.

Para el centro de mesa hice un pequeño arreglo con tres gerberas, hortensias, algunas naranjas y velas verdes. 

For the centerpiece I made a small arrangement with three gerberas, hydrangeas, some oranges and green candles.

Una cálida bienvenida, con una fresca naranjada y rica ensalada de frutas (aún en proceso) 

A warm welcome, with a fresh orange juice and a delicious fruit salad (still in progress)

Es hora de encender las velas ..... y disfrutar del momento!

It's time to turn on the candles ... and enjoy the moment!

3° Feria de Flores y Plantas - 3rd. Fair of Flowers and Plants

El fin de semana pasado, se realizo en el parque Central de Miraflores, la Tercera Feria de flores y Plantas.

La Feria estuvo muy interesante, participaron productores y comerciantes de flores, viveros, fabricantes de fertilizantes y abonos, florerias, y se dictaron también charlas sobre temas afines.

Les dejo con algunas fotos de lo que fue la feria.

The last week took place at the Central Park of Miraflores the Thrid Fair of Flowers and Plants.

It was very interesting, there were, producers and marketers of flowers, plant nurseries, fertilizer manufacturers, florists, also lectures of related topics.

I share some pictures of the fair.

Alrededor de todo el parque se instalaron diferentes stands, donde vendian lindas flores y plantas preciosas.

Around the park there were stands that sold very pretty flowers and beautiful plants.
