Buganvilia - Paper Flower

Hace unos meses estuvimos de paseo por Lunahuaná, valle situado a tres horas de Lima, un lugar de un clima privilegiado, muy propicio para el desarrollo de la preciosa Buganvilia (Bouganvillea) también conocida como Papelillo.

 A few months ago we were strolling around Lunahuaná,  a valley located three hours from Lima, a place of privileged climate, very suitable for the development of the beautiful Bougainvillea (Bougainvillea) also known as Papelillo.

Las habían de muchos colores, rojas, rosadas, naranjas, lilas y blancas. 

They are in differents colors, red, pink, orange, lily and white. 

Allí les muestro unas de ellas captadas bajo el lente de mi cámara, espero les guste.

Nota "Smile" - "Smile" Note

Esta es una pequeña notita motivacional, simple y sencilla. This's a little motivational note, super easy.

"SONRIE"  - "SMILE"

1.- Consigue un papel de tu agrado. Choose a beautiful paper.

2.- Perfora unas flores pequeñas. Use a flower punch to get ones.

3.- Dale algo de movimiento. Give them some  move.

4.- Dibuja a mano libre. Make your draw.

5. Pega las florcitas. Paste de flowers.

Y listo! And it's done.

Fiesta de Quince - Quinceañera Party

Hola queridas amigas, regreso al blog después de algún tiempito, he tenido muchas cosas que hacer. Hello dear friends, I'm back to blogland, I'm was very busy.

Les dejo algunas cosas que hice para celebrar los 15 años de mi hija, hicimos una pequeña celebración y ella estuvo muy contenta. Here I show you some stuff that I made to celebrate the 15 birthday of my girl.

Esta es una vista de la mesa de dulces, hice algunos banners para colgar en la pared. I made some paper banners to hag on the wall.

Me pidió una torta gigante, 4 pisos, aunque no soy una experta quedo bastante bien. She ask me to have a big cake, 4 floors, well I'm not an expert but it looks good.

Mi dulce fofucha "Quinceañera" para decorar la torta. My sweet fofucha "Quinceañera" to decor the cake.

Pompones de seda por todos lados. Lot of paper pom-poms.

Y delicadas rosas rosadas. And some pink roses.

Tarjeta de deseos, para que sus amigos escriban dejen sus mensajes. Wishing cards for her friends.

 Espero pronto poder ir visitándolas a cada una, ustedes siempre tan cariñosas conmigo. I will visit you soon, you always be so kind with me.

Lila y Rosa - Lilac and Pink

Una buena combinación de tonos, el lila y el rosa, se logra un ambiente muy acogedor.

A good combination of colors, lilac and pink, achieved a very cozy atmosphere.

 El punto focal de este comedor, sin lugar a dudas, son esos preciosos estores. 

The focal point of this room, no doubt, are these beautiful blinds.

Cojines con motivos florales, en diferentes tonos, hacen de este rincón el espacio ideal para un buen "relax". Me encantó el detalle de las jaula para los pájaros y las flores puestas en un florero de latón. 

Pillows with floral motifs in different colors, make this, the ideal spot for a good "relax". I loved the detail of the birdcage and the flowers placed in a brass vase.

Y la mesa no se queda atrás, un buen detalle el de amarrar a la servilleta una ramita y una flor, le da mucho estilo.

And the table is not left behind, you can set a styling table, wrapping the napking with a little twig and a flower.

Rosas en Jarra - Roses in Pitcher

Alguna vez les habrá pasado? Comprar unas bellas rosas, pero que en el camino a casa se rompa una, que pena botarla. This ever happened to you? Buy some beautiful roses, but in the way home, break one, what a shame dump it.

Se me ocurrió crear este arreglo combinando diferentes elementos. I create this arrangement combining different elements.

El detalle está en los pétalos flotando en el agua, esos de la rosa que se rompió, todo se usa nada se bota. The detail is in the petals floating in water, those of the rose that was broken, all is used nothing will throw away.

Hibisco Rosado - Pink Hibiscus

Caminando por allí  me detuve ha  admirar este hermoso regalo de la naturaleza, imposible no fotografiarlo. I stopped walking there, has to admire this beautiful gift of nature, impossible not to photograph it.

Un imponente hibisco rosado, una flor muy bella y de gran personalidad. Acá en Perú se le conoce como "Cucarda", se adaptan perfectamente en jardines externos, terraza o patios, necesitan de bastante luz, suelo fértil y húmedo. Hay muchos de ellos en los parques de la ciudad.

A stunning pink hibiscus, a beautiful flower with great personality. Here in Peru it is known as "Cucarda", they are well adapted to external gardens, terraces or patios, need plenty of light, fertile and moist soil. There are many of them in city parks.

Mesa: Dulces Cerezas - Sweet Cherry Tablescape

Una mesa alegre y dulce, la inspiración vino de este lindo mantel. A cheerful and sweet tablescape, the inspiration came from this beautiful tablecloth.

Una combinacion de rojo, verde, blanco, con algunos detalles amarillos. A combination of red, green and white with come yellow details.

Mi nueva jarra y vasos de estilo francés. My new pitcher and glasses in french style.

La bandeja y servilletero pintados a mano y con detalles en decoupage. The tray and napkin holder are handpainted with some decoupage.

Bellas flores frescas: Astromelias rojas, Margaritas blancas y tres Iris amarillos.

Gorgeous fresh flowers: red Astromelias, white Daisies and three yellow Iris.
